I'M LARISSA

the heart behind Larissa Grace Photo & Film. I’m happiest capturing the moments that often go unnoticed: the in-between glances, the laughter, the chaos, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me baking something homemade, sewing, gardening, or spending time with the people I love most. My goal is always to create images that feel honest, warm, and full of meaning for years to come.

Hello

And just
like that..

Looking back now, I can see God’s hand in every part of the journey. What started with a camera and a love for preserving memories slowly became something so much greater. In 2020, during one of the most uncertain seasons of life, photography opened doors I never expected and led me toward the life I had quietly been praying for.
to preserve the beauty of life exactly as it is.

Where it all began

Years ago, this life felt so far away. Now, I have the privilege of documenting love, connection, and the beautifully in-between moments while living out a dream that once felt impossible.

The Life I Prayed For

05

In 2024, I took a leap of faith and left my in-person teaching job to pursue virtual teaching and photography full-time. It was one of the scariest and most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made, allowing me to build a life centered around creativity, connection, and preserving the moments that matter most.

The Leap

04

2020 is when it all changed. When Covid hit, I decided to offer “from a distance” sessions in a sunflower field, never realizing how much that small idea would impact my life. And just like that, inquiries started rolling in, and photography became something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

The Spark

03

2018 I graduated from high school and went to college. Life was busier but I still made time for photography. I was a full time nanny, full time student, and pursuing a degree in teaching.

A New Chapter

02

2016 I launched "Larissa Grace Photography". I took photos of family and friends every so often, and I learned so much in the process! It was me and my Nikon Coolpix against the world!
